Reflecting on the seminar’s success, Dr. Chasen shared his personal enthusiasm:

“As a course director, I was very excited to plan and participate in this OMI seminar in Mexico City. Participating in OMI seminars in Salzburg has been enormously rewarding throughout my career. Sharing knowledge and exchanging our perspectives with a wider audience is fundamental to the core mission of the OMI. The fellows were active participants in the seminar, and I am very grateful for their enthusiastic feedback. I look forward to cultivating relationships with them, and to returning to Mexico City to teach and learn from more fellows in the future.”

The seminar underscored the importance of international collaboration in advancing medical education and patient care. The active participation and enthusiastic feedback from the fellows highlighted the event’s success and its impact on their professional development.

The Obstetrics and Gynecology seminar in Mexico City was not just an educational event but a testament to the power of global collaboration in medicine. It strengthened the bonds between institutions and professionals dedicated to improving women’s health worldwide.

As we look forward to future seminars, the shared knowledge and experiences from this event will undoubtedly contribute to better healthcare outcomes for women, reinforcing the mission of the Open Medical Institute and its partners. The seminar highlighted the importance of sharing knowledge in Medicine. It was interesting to see Dr. Navarro’s interaction with the faculty from Cornell, and their lectures allowed us to compare practices in different countries. I am confident the seminar expanded my vision of medicine and will allow me to be a better practitioner.

Attending this seminar has opened my eyes to new possibilities in Obstetrics and Gynecology. The lectures were fundamentally based on the most recent studies, which updated my knowledge in the field and will have a direct impact on my practice. Learning new protocols from the faculty and sharing them with my peers from all across the country was really interesting.

I particularly enjoyed Dr. Asfaw’s lectures on menopause, overactive bladder, and pelvic organ prolapse surgery. All the lectures were very comprehensive, allowing me to focus on topics I was more familiar with and enjoyed the most, such as Urology. The seminar was a unique opportunity to meet leading international faculty in the field, and I also met colleagues from Mexico who I hope to keep in touch with.
