OMI Vietnam Seminars

To further global expansion, the OMI is developing a third location in Vietnam. The OMI Vietnam seminars are three- to four-day intensive courses in different areas of medicine, which take place in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in collaboration with VinUniversity, Weill Cornell Medicine, the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and the Institut Pasteur. They are offered to highly qualified, English-speaking healthcare professionals from Vietnam and surrounding countries.

Seminars consist of state-of-the-art lectures, case presentations, roundtable discussions, and depending on the course, hands-on training sessions. Fellows must have either completed their specialization or be in the final phase of their residency, and plan to pursue a professional career in their home country. Attendance is mandatory for the entire seminar program, and all OMI fellows must contribute academically by presenting an interesting case study.
